Jim McNabb is a retired OCDSB teacher (35yrs) , half of which was served at Canterbury H.S., and head of Drama and Dance for a number of years.  Jim is also a long term professional actor and director.

Purpose of the Award

To encourage students to consider working in technical theatre both in school and as a career.

Eligibility

A student who has made an outstanding contribution to technical matters (lighting, sound, stage management, etc.) over his/her time at Canterbury.

Criteria for Selection of Winner

Teacher initiated choice of student based on their activities and contribution over several years at Canterbury.

Judging

Will be up to the Theatre department at Canterbury.

Award

One (1) award of $500.  If there is a tie, then 2 awards of $250.
